About
I got so tired of being asked what digital humanities is that I decided to make a site that would answer that question. This site is a curated collection of digital humanities projects that I find interesting and that I think are worth sharing. I hope that this site will serve as a useful resource for anyone interested in learning more about digital humanities and the exciting work being done in this field.Furtermore; many academic sites or libguides that feature digital humanities projects suffer from a lack of descriptions of the projects they link to, poor quality control, and a failure to showcase the exciting aspects of digital humanities. Instead, they often present a long list of links with little context or explanation, making it difficult for users to understand the significance of the work being done in this field. Technical issues such as slow loading times, poor navigation, and a lack of visual appeal can also make it challenging for users to engage with these sites.Digital Humanities, when done right, is super fucking cool and its a giant shame that most people dont know about it. This site aims to address these issues by providing a platform that prioritizes better UI/UX design, curated quality control, very fast performance and a focus on highlighting the most compelling aspects of digital humanities.I hope you enjoy the site and that you find it useful.
